Spring Information Session

What:     The Lowcountry Graduate Center (LGC) will hold a drop-in information session

for individuals interested in learning about graduate degrees and certificates offered at the LGC.  Representatives and professors from the LGC’s respective institutions will be available to answer questions regarding specific program course work and the application process.  Light refreshments will also be provided.

 

When:    Tuesday, April 10, 2007, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

 

Where:   LGC is located in SCRA Trident Research Center

    5300 International Boulevard

    Building B, Suite 100

               North Charleston, SC 29418

 

Who:      Graduate admissions representatives and professors from College of Charleston (CofC),

The Citadel, University of South Carolina (USC), and Clemson University as well as LGC administrative representatives.

 

Additional Information: Created through a partnership of the College of Charleston, The Citadel and the Medical University of South Carolina, the Lowcountry Graduate Center (LGC) now includes the University of South Carolina and Clemson University, to further expand the opportunities for graduate education in the Lowcountry.  The LGC is working to add graduate programs that will have the greatest impact on the economic development of the region.  The LGC is located in North Charleston, on the road to the airport, and shares facilities with the College of Charleston North Campus.

 

 The following programs are currently available at the LGC:

  • Ph.D. in Educational Administration- USC
  • Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration- Clemson
  • Master of Social Work- USC
  • Master of Arts in Communication- CofC
  • Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering- USC
  • Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences- Citadel and CofC
  • Organizational and Corporate Communication Certificate- CofC
  • Technical Project Management Certificate- Citadel
  • Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Certificates- CofC
  • Extended Graduate Campus Satellite Courses - USC
  • Master’s Level Education Courses- Citadel and CofC
  • Master’s Level Business Courses – Citadel
