Ph.D. in Educational Leadership - Higher Education Administration from Clemson University
The Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration (formally, Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration) is tailored for professionals working in higher education and is designed to provide a background in two academic areas: educational research and educational leadership. Specifically, the program’s curriculum is designed to prepare leaders and administrators to create learning communities that improve the performance of all students.
Approximately one-third of the program’s courses will be offered at the Lowcountry Graduate Center, one-third of the courses will be online, and one-third of the program will be individualized research and dissertation work. The LGC plans to offer one course per semester. Students may supplement additional courses via online and customize a program of study that best suits their schedule. The average class size in the program is 10 to 15 students.
