The Lowcountry Graduate Center continues to remain in alignment with the orders from the Office of the Governor and DHEC to help mitigate the spread of the novel COVID-19 virus.
Here are the latest announcements regarding COURSE SCHEDULES from our partnering colleges:
- The College of College – CofC will be implementing a hybrid approach that keeps the Fall academic calendar intact while eliminating Fall Break. In-person instruction will end at Thanksgiving break, with a following week of online instruction and online exams. Faculty will be instructed to design their courses so that meaningful assessment is done throughout the semester.
- The Citadel -In-person instruction will resume in Fall 2020. Some programs are phasing in In-person instruction. Classes commence August 17 and end November 24.
- The University of South Carolina – In-person instruction will resume in mid-August. UofSC will expand online course offerings to accommodate those who choose to remain away.
- South Carolina State University – Fall semester will begin on August 10. SC State University’s administration is implementing a phased plan to bring students, faculty, and staff back to campus, beginning with Undergraduates. Fall 2020 Term for all Graduate Programs will be online to allow social distancing for Undergraduates on campus.
