Every year, the month of June is recognized as Pride Month, and to show our allyship to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion we want to highlight important organizations and resources available to the LGBTQ+ community. Although this list was originally published for June, we find it essential that allyship is a continual process not relegated to a single month.


The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25. Click here to view resources available: Resources

The CDC provides helpful resources and links regarding LGBT Health

Drugwatch provides information on high-risk medical products and health issues and helps people take legal action if they’ve been injured. Drugwatch provides two incredible links regarding LGBTQIA Health and Mental Health resources.

Growing up is hard enough, and for children and teenagers who are questioning their gender identity, the task of taking on commonly experienced milestones of adolescence like puberty can be even more distressing. Nursing License Map, a website dedicated to helping individuals find education options for a career in Nursing, highlights the Importance of Gender Affirming Care for Transgender & Gender Expansive Youth.
