About the Program
This degree is for those seeking initial licensure as a K-12 theater or music (choral) teacher. The program includes coursework in their artistic discipline and in the field of education and culminates in a teaching internship. Applicants should have completed an equivalent of at least 18 hours in theater or music core coursework at an undergraduate level or masters level.
Program Learning Outcomes: Skills and Knowledge
Graduates of this program will enhance their artistic knowledge and skills gained at an undergraduate level and add the skill set of being able to teach K12 students within their artistic discipline.
