About the Program
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) online Post Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (PPOTD) will prepare occupational therapists with a master’s degree to change what’s possible in their careers, clinics, and communities.
This online 30-credit program, designed by and for busy, working licensed occupational therapists, is completed over 5 semesters in 1.5 years. Three optional in-person weekends in Charleston, SC offer the opportunity for students to build community amongst their cohort and with the award-winning MUSC OT faculty.

Program Learning Outcomes: Skills and Knowledge
Students will grow their clinical skills, enhance their ability to teach others, improve their leadership skills, and expand their understanding of population health. Students will also take three capstone courses under the mentorship of Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) faculty in which they plan, propose, implement, and disseminate a Capstone project.
