Jonathan Solomon has worked for the LGC for the past 4 years and serves as its Administrative Assistant, helping in various projects, tasks, and support roles. Beginning in August of 2016, Jonathan began working as a student worker while attending classes at the College of Charleston. In December of 2017, he secured a full-time job as the administrative assistant working directly under the Director of the LGC, Dr. Nancy Muller.
As a leader, Jonathan was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in 2010 by the Boy Scouts of America, served as a Junior Senator in College of Charleston’s Student Government Association in 2015, and participated in two leadership programs while attending the College. During his tenure at LGC, he has participated in the Racial Equity Institute to learn how organizations and businesses can more effectively respond to race relations in and out of the workplace.
Jonathan graduated from Stratford High School, located in Goose Creek, SC, and also earned an Associate in Arts from Trident Technical College. He transferred to the College of Charleston in January of 2015 and is completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Politics, Philosophy, and Law. His goal after his undergrad is to obtain a Masters in Public Administration.
