The LGC is not a degree-conferring institution. Rather, we form partnerships with top-rated universities to provide Lowcountry residents with convenient access to graduate programs. It is through these partnering institutions in which degrees are conferred.
Prospective students apply for admission to the university offering the graduate program of choice. Once accepted, LGC students will take the same courses, receive instruction from the same professors, and will be afforded access to the same academic resources as main-campus graduate students.
We currently offer degree programs from the following universities: the College of Charleston, The Citadel, the University of South Carolina, and S.C. State University
