The Lowcountry Graduate Center (LGC) is a state-funded organization dedicated to providing Lowcountry residents with convenient access to graduate programs from top South Carolina colleges. We are an educational consortium, currently offering degree programs from The College of Charleston; The Citadel; the University of South Carolina; and South Carolina State University.
Prospective students apply for admission to the university offering the graduate program of their choice. Once accepted, LGC students will take the same courses, receive instruction from the same professors, and will be afforded access to the same academic resources as main-campus graduate students.
